If you need to access the sign in or registration page, follow the easy steps below. We have provided a quick guide for you to find out how you can activate a new online account or login and gain access to your current account. Be sure you have your personal information on hand.

The following are different ways you can make payment:

  1. By Phone:
    • 916-734-2450: for questions BEFORE YOUR DISCHARGE about things such as:
      • billing, insurance or financial arrangements
    • 913-734-9200 / 1-800-551-9411 / Hearing Impaired- 916-734-9230 for TDD: for questions AFTER YOUR DISCHARGE such as:
      • billing, insurance or financial arrangements, doctors’ fees or an outpatient services bill
  2. By Financial Assistance: For more information regarding this Program or assistance with Application, contact the Patient Business Services Office for Hospital Services at  Customer Service Office at 916-734-9200 or 1-800-551-9411 (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.).
  3. With Insurance: Usually they will bill your insurance company or health plan within two weeks after your discharge. Once your insurance company pays its portion, you will be billed for co-pays, deductibles or services for which your insurance company does not pay. If you are hospitalized for more than three weeks, they may bill your insurance company at two or more intervals.
  4. By creating or logging into an online account: see below for steps to do so online.
  5. What to do if you can’t pay your bill? A UC Davis financial counselor is available to answer any questions about insurance coverage and financial assistance programs for which you might be eligible such as Medi-Cal, the county Medically Indigent Services Program or other programs. Call the Financial Clearance Department at 916-734-3245 (4-3245 on a hospital phone), Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Today, they offer their patients access to a free and secure online health information management tool. The online portal called myUCLAhealth allows patients to perform the following tasks:

  • View and pay billing statements.
  • View and manage appointments.
  • View and manage lab results.
  • Send secure messages to their health care provider.
  • Refill medications / prescriptions.
  • View medical records / electronic health information / health summary.

Steps if you are a CURRENT patient looking to sign into your current account online:

  1. Visit: https://mychart.ucdavis.edu/mychart/ on your device.
  2. Type in your username and password in the fields provided.
  3. Click on the “SIGN IN” button and begin managing your current online account.

Follow the easy steps below if you are a NEW patient who needs to register and create a new account to manage your medical information:

  1. Visit this link on your device in an internet browser.
  2. Click on the “SIGN UP NOW” button to be redirected here: https://mychart.ucdavis.edu/mychart/accesscheck.asp
  3. Type in your Activation Code in the fields provided. (If you do not have one, click on the “Request Activation Code” button located on the far right side of the page to be redirected here: https://mychart.ucdavis.edu/mychart/publicforms.asp?mode=showForm&formname=ActivationReq)
  4. Input your Date of Birth in the fields provided.
  5. Type in your Medical Record Number in the field provided.
  6. Click on the “Next” button.
  7. Proceed to move forward and provide all the required information to complete the registration for a new online account.
